Is there any way to change the sonar sensitivity when in the chart/sonar view?

I would prefer to not have to go to the sonar view screen to change those setting and then back to the chart. I have a 798cisi

Just make sure you have the sonar side of the screen set as the “active” side. The sides are selectable as to which one the menu pops up for. I can’t remeber the steps to make that selection though. Try pressing menu and then there should be an option that lets you select the side I think. Hope this helps or at least gets you started!

I believe u have to press the page button twice to switch active sides.

Press menu then left right button to make which ever screen active to adjust.

Ok, so none of these options worked. I don’t have a page button, and pressing the menu button brings up the menu for navigation if I remember correctly. I don’t see an option that says which screen is active.

I will try HB customer support.

Well, it sounds like the unit is not programmed with this capability. Nor can I add time to this particular screen selection.

Add to that my speed readings fluctuate so much, kind of a downer. They want me to send the unit in to get checked out because of the speed difference. I have to run my garmin GPS to get a more accurate speed. Trolling 2-2.2 mpg and the unit sometimes shows up to 3.1 mph.

I have a 797 c2i. My internal antenna seemed to do the same thing. I had it mounted behind a windshield though. Added the external 16 ch. gps puck and got much better/consistent mph readings. And way more accurate position of error. It was 6-8 ft rather than 15-20 ft!
