I am looking for a Portable Humminbird fishfinder with a colored screen in the 300 or 500 series.
Any advise is appreciated as I am new at this.

I got this one and mounded it to a portable unit. Its really nice. you need a big battery though.

386ci Portable – http://www.fishfinders.info/review-of-humminbird-386ci-combo-portable – is about your only option if you need 300 or 500 series and a color display.
