LakeMaster ?

    I was wondering if a HB 1198c would read a regular lakemaster chip from 2011, or does it still have to be a specific chip for HB? Thanks

    Not sure about 2011.. What was it run in before? Before Johnson Outdoors buying Lakemaster, they were brand specific, so Im guessing if this was run in a Lowrance unit before, that it wont run in the HB.

    I just bought them about a month ago, but it doesn’t say any brand on it.

    A new (non-hold over) chip purchased a month ago would be Humminbird specific.
