cant read navionics gold

I have a 1197 that came preloaded with navionics gold. I have a lakemaster chip and when using it i get all the contour lines everything is good. I take the lakemaster chip out then try to bring up the navionics and i do not get any contour lines I must have to flip something on to get them any thoughts what im doing wrong or what i need to try to get contour lines. the navionis is in the choice menu

Are you sure the Navionics has the lake you are on. If not it will only give you a base outline and no depths.

I think what Toms saying, is that the Navionics bundle that is included in the package is from 06 and possibly doesnt have the lake you are trying to use in High Definition, so it will only show the outline of the lake.

Have you used the navionics bundled map on this lake prior to inserting the LakeMaster?

What Lakemaster chip do you have, and how does the 1197 run it. Is the processor fast enough in the 1197 ? Im contemplating getting a version 3 chip, but am a little worried about being able to run it in the 1197/997.

okay i figured it out its there just doesnt cover the lake i was on i’m bad i went to winnebago and tried it there and there it was poor quality but there thanks
