Hbird wide 100 problem!

    I recently bought a boat with a wide 100 instaled!
    I’m a newbie fishfinder user…The problem is ***the unit will turn on into simulation mode, but will not let me use any other input button…also the unit will not power off, by pressing the power button, I have to turn the accessory toggle off to shut it down*** Where am I with this unit???
    I would please like some help with this unit, thank you, jml

    Usually means it is not recognizing the transducer(bad, not connected or pinched/cut cable)
    I assume you are holding the power button for 5 seconds while it powers off. If you are, time for a new one.
