    What in the world would cause my water temp to read 138 degrees? First time owning humminbird and so fare not a fan

    One hot boat. Does it read correct temp any time? You didn`t happen to accidentally set the temperature offset by chance.

    I don’t think so when I got on the water it was fine then climed to 178. Then it don’t even show up any more now the setting says on for showing water temp on screen but don’t show up?
