Version 3 LM chip

    Last night I installed the latest updates for my 917c and 957c. Put the chip in and it worked. My only concern is that it is very slow to draw/refresh when zooming in and out. maybe 30-40 seconds.

    anyone else have this problem.

    I think 3 was geared towards the series ending in 8’s(998,1198) as they have faster processors. Lakemasters are known for drawing slow to begin with.

    yea wannabe has it right there is so much information on that chip some units have difficulty refreshing when zooming in.

    I have the series 3 LM in my 998 and it seems to be just fine. I don’t know which models have dual processors but the 998 does, and I’d assume HB dedicates one to graphics refresh and draw.
