788Ci Install Tips

    Any good Tips for Do’s or Don’ts when installing a 788Ci?
    Replacing an older unit so wire runs are pretty much set, power is right there, etc.

    I think they come with a plastic piece that plugs the transducer hold now, but if not tape around the opening on the transducer bracket to eliminate a rooster tail at high speeds

    just put mine in last week went pretty well there is a download available at humminbird.com pretty easy to download with a empty sd card
