navionics

my 1197 came preloaded with Navionic gold since im new to hb I cant get the maps up is it possible that it was deleted if not how do i find it.

Am sure a Hummingbird guru will chime in, but am sure you would not be able to delete a preloaded program.
If you don’t get an answer solution here by Monday, give Hummingbird a call.

You need to move your cursor to where the lake is somewhat close. Then start to zoom in to it, it may not show up till you get close (in distance and altitude to the mapped lake. I don’t remember how far away you can be before it starts to show.

I finally figured that out with your help thanks now i dont have any contours I checked again and im in the nav gold so what am i doing wrong now i zoomed in and out and nothing but now shows reefs and points so i think im getting close

To be honest I’m not sure about the contours, I’d have to fire mine up and look, I use a card all the time.
I’ll take a peek when I go out today and uncover it.

Depending on the lake, it may or may not be mapped in High Definition. What lake is it that you are looking at?

Sorry I never made it to the boat today. If I do it will be late tomorrow now.
