Do you have a mounting board to put it on. Think I moved mine at least a half dozen times and still having problems in shallow water. The board saves on putting holes in the boat.

Can you post a pic of your transom/under side of the boat? If so, that would save a lot of guess work!

just ordered a mounting board (yesterday), made sense.. speaking of mounting board have you used an adhesive to attach to boat transom???

4 stainless steel screws and a tube of silicone.

hold the mounting board to the transom…trace it..cut it..pre drill esp in a glass boat be generous with the silicone mount it

I would use 3M Marine Grade Adhesive / Sealant 5200 – not plain silicone.

I think all dealerships that mount transducers should install a mounting board, I noticed the original install took a few redo’s, meaning silicone in the holes..So guys when you buy a new boat tell the dealership to install the mounting board, mine cost $12.00.. safe boating.. no drinking in the boat..be safe..

That’s what I did. Unfortunately, the dealer didn’t listen to me. So, now I have 2 holes filled with silicone and a mounting board with the transducers on it. Didn’t make me very happy.
