To connect the GPS to your marine radio for DCS function.

    Hailing USCGA Flotiila members,

Where do I get a, or apply for, or recieve a,
Maritime Moble Service Idenity (MMSI) that will direct calls directly to my VHF radio? This is also the same info that my VHF radio uses when/or if ever I would send a distress call out?

It’s hooked up to the Humminbird gps puck now. I’ve had a Raymarine Ray54 for several years and just now finishing the instulation. I’m in DM IA.

Thanks in advance for the info!

Exactly what I have been searching for, Thanks Wade!!

I must need to sharpen my search skills or something. What did you do different than I did? I used wikipedia and got no where after that.

Now doing it again I see your link right under it. I wonder if I discounted it thinking it was some retail site. Don’t know now. Anyhoot, thanks again!
