    I am switching to hb and am buying a used 997 I know it has side scan but can down scan be added and if you have one good and bad of the unit I will not get into which company is better just want info thanks

    Your unit may already have DI. It became avaliable a year and a half ago as a software update.

    If you unit has the current software version, youll be good to go. If not, its pretty simple to do the update.
