I have a 597 ci hd with Lakemaster Chip for the boat. I know if I buy the special ice ducer equip and battery I can use it on the ice.
Will it be as time accurate(real time) as a flasher?
I have heard a couple of answers but I am looking for experienced users.
Anyone having a opinion or experience please chime in.

I’ve not fished on ice with the unit you’re asking about but a member “paulsbunion” talks about fishing with the 385 in the thread linked. Might want to send him a message and get his take on it. The 385 is the little brother to your 585 so I would think they would be fairly similar.
