I have a 570 mounted on the bow of my boat and have it connected to the Terrova’s universal sonar. Whenever the Terrova has the blade spinning the sonar unit becomes useless. The depth reading bounces from 200 – 600 ft. I have played around with the sensitivity to no avail. Previous to the terrova, I had a powerdrive v2 and had the ducer strapped to the unit with a hose clamp. I had no issues with that. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Are they being pulled from the same power source? i.e. hooked to the same battery?

No – they are hooked up to separate power sources. My terrova runs off my deep cycles, while my sonar units run off my starting battering.
This is the same power setup I had prior to the terrova. The only difference is the ducer being usind is the universal sonar on the terrova.
