chip for humminbird 581I

    i tried to purchase the latest LM chip and found out it is not compatible with the 581I. should I go navionics? what have you done in a similar situation?

    I have a new 581i and went through the same thing. I was told I could use the Lakemaster chip, then I asked for more details and was told my unit wasn’t compatible. E-mailed them again about the first reply and was told again that it was not compatible. I justed ordered the Navionics Gold today per HB support.
