Anyone have any experence with this unit? If so what did you think?? Im looking for a new gps/sonar combo and this one looks pretty good for the price.. Or what about the one with the down imageing??? Is it worth the extra money???
Just installed mine and have made one trip to Devils Lake with it. Love it, Love it, Love it. I went with the DI unit and it was well worth the extra money. No more wondering what the 2-D sonar is showing. I run mine split screen with GPS/DI so I rarely even look at the 2D anymore. Great unit and super easy install. I haven’t even tapped into all the screens yet to fine tune things but seems to have lots of possibilites.
I’ve got the older 595-C. Been running it for 5 yrs. now. Great unit!!! I even take it off the boat during the winter and put it on a custom made box that holds a lawn mower battery for ice fishing.
I bought the same unit and also bought the Lake Masters chip for it. You’ll be VERY happy with the unit. I know I am.
I have an older 987 HB unit that has si and di.
I love the DI along side w/ the 2d sonar.
I would add DI in a heartbeat!
Awesome. Best investment I’ve put on my boat down imaging rocks takes a little while dialing settings in I’ve highly impressed
