I have an 858 GPS combo, everything works great, shows weeds in great detail but no arches for fish just tiny dots. The transduser is glassed in if that means anything. Not a tech guy. Thanks

These are suspended walleyes. Are you referring to panfish as dots; or larger fish?

It could be the angle of the transducer since it is glassed in hard to change the more level to the lake bottom the better the arches. What speed is the boat moving and what scroll speed are you using?

It doesn’t mater at all speeds this hapens, as for chart speed, I am not sure I never messed with that.

Could be why your not seeing fish as arches, another is how are you setting your sensitivity and serfice clutter?

My sensitivity is 1-20 it is at 10 and chart speed is 1-10 and that is set at 5 also my surface clutter is 1-10 and that is set at 5. I have to set my noise filter at high 2 otherwise when I’m driving my boat the unit lights up like a Xmas tree.

Could be a big problem you need to find what is causing the interference and remedy that first. Then we can talk more about getting arches. I would call Hbird you may need a choke to cut down on interference
