With all the crap weather we have been having pop up daily I am thinking about setting up the 998 with the XM Weather. I was reading the manual but am still not sure what to do? Do I need an accessory for this from HB? What package do I need from XM? I see the basic package is $9.95 per month and the next one up is $29.99 per month(yikes). Hopefully I only need the $9.95 per month package. Anyone using it on their unit? Any opinions, suggestions or tips?

    Thanks,

Shoot me a pm on Tues or Wed 85. I have a number to Sirrus that will connect you to real people that know what your taking about.

When I ordered my $9. a month In Land Weather, my card was charged another $109. for a car radio. The people that answer the regular Sirrus number do not know they sell a marine radio package that displays on a locater.

To answer your questions, you need the marine antenna (looks similar to a gps antenna) and the Sirrus InLand Weather package.

Hah! I forgot I entered the number in my phone!

866-635-7761, this is the direct line to the Marine and Aviation Dept and the ONLY people I would talk to.

Call the other numbers at your own risk!
