Any suggestions ideas why the left side of my SI picture has lines through it? Is my transducer not down far enough? The right side seems fine

Is the transducer on the right side of the transom? Check interference from the motor. I need to trim my motor up slightly as I have the same issue. Got a picture of the transducer installation?

My guess is that you are just high enough to pick up your lower unit . I would try to lower it as far as you can down your mounting plate. Remember to stay clear of the path of the rivets in the hull.

Slide that transducer down lower on the mounting plate towards the V! Get your brother to help you…oh, that’s me. We can do it!

As I said I have the same issue and for now just live with it and mess with the trim. Matter of fact here is a picture I already have one on this computer. Looks fairly close to yours?
