Decided to check out another lake we have not fished before, so we decided to do Hayward. Has a nice ramp but no dock. Started out catching a small musky and then the 2 bass pictured, both where right at the shore line, was using a 6″ Flapp’n Shad (Key Lime Pie), thought the brother was going to get skunk, then he switched to a 6″ Flapp’n Shad (Brown Pumpkin Shad), got a small musky, a small Bass, and then pulled the one pictured out of the pads, tried for some pannies as we made are way back to the launch, started to get to hot and only planned on staying out a couple of hours. We had fun and that is all that matters.
