we’re going to big chip this coming weekend, it will be our first time. does anyone have any tips for a first timer? we hope to fish for just about everything(or what ever is easiest to catch) including walleyes and muskies. also my map book says some spots ate difficult to navigate due to rocks and stumps. any help is greatly appreciated.

The chip does have a lot of hazzards many shredded props out there each year. Lots of water to cover. My advise call Tanner Wildes and eliminate most of that water. He can show you Panfish, walleye, and muskie spots.

im guessing the muskies will be on the shallow rocks or in the weeds. where would you guys look for walleyes… deep structure, weed edges, sunken bogs? i think there is no trolling, so the normal seek and destroy will not work. i guess finding them is half the fun.

just an update… the eyes were biting good, however most were small. we did get enough for a fry. we also found crappies and perch in with the eyes. we caught several gills in 20-22 fow, what weirdos! we moved 4 muskies in the slop on friday in the overcast wind. hot follows. great piece of water. great trip
