    Years ago I used to make a couple of trips a year to Nelson Lake for big sunnies…Late-mid summer…. drifting around worked pretty good most of the time .
    Is it still as good as the old days?
    I want do at least 1 or 2 3 day trips this year and a trip to the old haunts sounds like fun….
    Any help??

    Do you mean Big Lake that is below the Nelson/Wabasha road??

    Nope
    This Nelson Lake is north of Hayward 10 miles or so..
    It’s part of the Totagatic flowage.
