Friday, I guided out on LCO, fishing was tough, got a few flags for pike, and iced a few of them, biggest was about 20 inches. The barometric pressure was pretty high, and everything moved out a bit deeper with that pressure, all the fish that we were catching in 5-8 feet of water were out in 10-11 feet of water, and we couldn’t really find a school of crappies, just one here and one there. pretty frustrating, we could see schools of bluegills and 5-6 of them at our jig at a time, but they would come right up to it, and not bite it, and if they did they just grabbed the spike, not the jig. got a few smaller gills, and a lm bass. pretty tough though. should start getting good with the warm up!!
Good luck,
