Air temps well into the 30’s made for some great flag-chasing in the Hayward area with the kids this weekend. Short stints of a couple of hours here-and-there kept the kids warm and motivated. Since we fished only during the day, our main quarry was bass and pike, with a few panfish mixed in on the jig poles. Mid-depth green weeds produced all of our action over the past couple of days.
