The 2006/7 walleye bag limits for Sawyer county lakes have been set. Some of the more common lakes are noted below:
Chippewa Flowage 3
Grindstone 3
Lac Courte Oreilles 3
Little Round 3
Lost Land 3
Nelson 2
Round 3
Sissabagama 3
Spider 3
Teal 2
Tiger Cat Flowage 3
These limits are preliminary, based on spearing declarations. Once the speared fish are totaled from each lake, these limits may be adjusted (upwards), normally right around the time of the inland opener. If there are changes to the bag limits above, I’ll post an update.

Two of the lakes that I frequent, Round and Spider, will see a more liberal bag limit this year than last year. In 2005, Round had a bag limit of 1 (speared heavily) and Spider had a bag limit of 2.
