Ty is very good, but also very hard to get.

Dave Dorazio and Larry Ramsell are a couple nice guides to check out.

All the guides mentioned above are top notch guides

It’s to bad Tanner Wildes gave up guiding

Also forgot to mention a budding guide by the name of Paulski

He’s been fishing the Chip for many years, He’s very knowledgeable and he works for CHEAP

I have been known to be a cheap date …

I will be up there the first week of August and as always am on the lookout for anyone who wants to perhaps get together.

We fished several times with Tanner. Enjoyed that time very much. I know he stopped guiding, to bad. Any one know what happened? What about this guy named Paulski? Just looking to do maybe a half day trip with a friend of mine from Florida. We have stayed on the Flowage for a week in July for about 22 years and just wanted to try some one new.

I fished last fall with Rich Simak on Lost Land Lake. Great guy. He does the whole area.

I’ve fished with him several times, he’s a great guy and a blast to fish with

The only downfall is you better like football cause he’ll talk you’re ear off about the Packers all day long

As far as tanner goes, I’m not 100% sure but I was hearing that he was just getting burnt out and wanted to spend more time with his family.

Not sure when you started to try to get ahold of Ty, but he is generally able to get back to people unless he is out of town… don’t know if he at Cave Run for the PMTT this weekend, but that could be why he is not returning calls. I know he has a webpage on http://www.fishinginfo.com. Once in go to fishing reports, then the top of the two Chippewa Flowage threads. I’ll check to see if he has been posting lately…

I see the last time he posted was on Thursday, so its possible that he is out of town. I know other times when he is out of town, he is usually not answering…

As for others, SteveO and others have posted very good guides, including Dorazio, Genson, perhaps the Shumway brothers…
