Namekagon help needed

Got invited to a cabin for the weekend. Will be watching the game on sunday but not sure whether to bring my ice gear.

Anyone have any starter tips for Namekagon? I’ve only been there for recreational boating in the summer, no fishing. Wouldn’t mind a walleye meal before the season closes up here in a few weeks.

Will be staying on a bay that’s on the east/northeast side.

    Thanks!

Always take your gear, if you’ll be near Ice, give it a shot unless you’re too shot from other festivities.

North of that yet. It’s straight NW of Garden lake about a mile but east of County Rd D. I couldn’t find a name for the bay. Last summer it was a short bike ride to the Pla-moor bar.

    Hope that helps

Can you tell me what page you are on and based on your comment, are you on the water or will you need to drive to the lake no matter what???

page 1 Follow the road north and do NOT cross the bridge. It’s by the W just east of the road. On google it looks like it’s Viking Bay Road.

Got lazy and cheap. With cold temps I didn’t feel like bucket fishing. The choice was to drive a 30mpg car or my 15mpg truck. Looks like it’s hot tub and snowmobiling for me and fishing will wait another day.

Sorry I got really busy Thurs. and Friday!!! I am not sure I was able to visit here since Thursday… As cold as it was, you probably made the right choice!!! I wasn’t really as sure I could put you on a walleye bite as I was getting you on some crappies…

Thanks for checking back. Never opposed to crappies but still had a great time without fishing.
