The wife and I have a few days to burn Aug 9-13th.
Always heard about this area but never been.
I would prefer to go the “road less traveled” route and stay/fish a little in more of a remote/less populated area if there is even such a thing this time of year.

I have no knowledge or experience in this area but would like to check it out.
Fishing will be laid back, no pressure, chasing a few panfish would be preferred to keep her interested.

Can anyone provide or point me in the right direction for some lesser known areas and lakes? Places to check for lodging, etc?
Doing a little hiking is on her list as well.
    Feel free to PM me

    Thanks in advance waytogo
