Hayward Area Ice Conditions

Anybody have any idea how ice conditions are around the Hayward area? Looking to head up this weekend and talked with some bait shops and they said people are out. I really don’t want to drive up there and find out the snow has killed it. What should I expect up there? Any particular lakes? Thanks in advance.

Smaller lakes might be ok, bigger lakes, I find it hard to believe they would be ok. I will be waiting awhile before I head up to LCO, Grindstone, Sissabagama, and the other big lakes near Hayward. That said, smaller lakes up there, I would imagine there are some walkable given they have been on ice for nearly a week in Vilas county.
