Finish recarpeting it last night. FW bought 2 lazy boys and a pot chair…maybe it was called a tube chair… for those nights on the water when I want to get away from all the tats and piercings…unless the FD or Ear Ring Boy are along.
November 14, 2018 at 3:30 pm #1810008Just think of the special bonding moment in a few years when Grandpa can take little Ella in for her first tat.
November 14, 2018 at 3:30 pm #1810009Seriously and back on topic sort of…It’s getting real hard to buy stuff locally. Example. I needed a grease pump to winterize the 90 horse on the Lund. I’ll pick one up in town I thought.
3 days later I still didn’t make it to “town”. We were in Stevens Point and needed some chain from Fleet Farm. Went to look for a pump and they were sold out.
I ordered one from Amazon and two days later, I was filling up the grease. No tax no shipping. No piercings and the correct change.

I have tats too–thinking of getting a couple more as a matter of fact…
November 14, 2018 at 4:05 pm #1810020I was at FF last week waiting to check out when the old man in front of me told the cashier lady that he had a pliers in his truck and he would come back to take that piercing out of her lip so she didn’t have to walk around looking so ridiculous. This is not the first time she had heard this and ignored him, but I was shocked that someone could be so incredibly rude. I half thought about turning the old man to dust, but that wouldn’t solve anything.
I then thought about at least rudely telling him my thoughts, but he was ready for the confrontation, which would have again solved nothing.
If she didn’t care, then I didn’t either.
The point of a mostly pointless story is that some people can be so rude to others. But what do I know… I’m just a guy with a tattoo.

Everyone’s been an idiot…even me! Might as well enjoy the view.

Appearance is irrelevant ,everyone makes mistakes I give her credit for working . I can handle mistakes , but rude customer service , that’s a deal breaker
November 14, 2018 at 7:55 pm #1810080Hey Bob B was that you infront of me the other day that couldn’t find your money??
Prolly not. He usually throws his money on the floor so she has to pick it up.
CaptainMuskyPosts: 22813November 14, 2018 at 9:14 pm #1810099I’m sure happy I don’t live in your world.
wow, just wow. Completely proved my point. Look down upon whoever you want based on theor appearance I’m glad to know that not everyone in “my world” is that short sighted.
I generally appreciate everything you post but this is a strenuous dislike.philtickelsonInactiveMahtomedi, MNPosts: 1678November 14, 2018 at 9:23 pm #1810101“This generation is so stupid and the world is going to the dogs.”

-generation that raised parents giving the trophies.
On the cashier front, those folks at most of those stores are trained to move people through the lines as quickly as possible. At Target, cashiers have the power to change an item’s price by $5-10 or so if it means moving the line along. She probably couldn’t find the loaf of bread in the system quickly, so found something similar. She may have even known the price of the item but couldn’t find the item and purposely gave you a ‘deal.’
I’m a math guy so the counting change thing is amusing sometimes, but if I’m honest, cash and change are getting used less and less. There just isn’t as much of a need to do that quickly as there used to be, and that’s not these kid’s fault. Did you know they don’t teach kids cursive anymore? Can you believe the nerves of those kids! Won’t even ask to change the teacher’s curriculum to include cursive and check writing!!!
Tattoos and piercings can be pretty scary though, I hate when people express themselves with their personal appearance :).
November 14, 2018 at 9:48 pm #1810106Looks like we got the pc babies on here now. Settle down snowflakes, people make judgments on looks. Fact of life. Get over it. Have a beer.
Here we go….having a little empathy or compassion now makes you a snowflake. Guess I’m a snowflake. I’m fine with that.
November 14, 2018 at 10:09 pm #1810113Sorry I wasn’t PC enough for you.
You be you, bwally. No need to apologize. I respect your thoughts and opinions.

How much more enjoyable would work be if everyone felt that way? Would make a world of difference in my line of work, whether it be fellow coworkers or customers/patients/clients. Maybe im just a “snowflake” for mentioning it
November 14, 2018 at 11:09 pm #1810123So because we dont judge every young person with tats and piercings we are now snowflakes?
