I have a 2014 skeeter WX2060 . I don’t care for the carpeting that came with the boat. I tried the foam floor mats that you use in front of benches but they move around and hold water under and don’t dry out.
I’ve been looking at seadek it’s a foam pad that has 3M adhesive to keep it down. I sent for a template from seadek to draw out your floor pattern. Folks use it a lot in salt water applications but haven’t seen to much in these parts. Youtube has been very helpful but was just wondering if anybody has used it or has it in there boat. Looked for a local dealer but looks like it’s going to be a DYI project. Closest dealer is in eastern Wis or Ill.
Any help or comments would be great. Thanks!

There is a company called Aqua Traction out of Clearwater, MN and they do the same thing. You could give them a call and see if they would be able to help you out.

Seadek is widely used in the recreational boats around here. Gatorstep is a competitor that has a really good following too. I have a small Gatorstep piece on order for the bow of my fiberglass boat but don’t have it in hand yet.

Here’s what I don’t know about these products in a fishing application. How do you clean them? slime, dirt, worms, lunch, etc all seem to be fair game in a fishing boat. Curious if someone on here has first hand experience?

I put Sea Dek in one of Contenders, wow is it nice. They already had a pattern for it. They have a softer version you might want to consider in the cockpit area. That would make it more comfy on your feet and knees if standing all day. Good luck.
