….and some fish too. The white bass down there are crazy and everywhere. Gets a bit annoying after a while when you’re trying to get the eyes that are close. We did manage 3 eyes, including this nice one over 24″ that was wrestled in by my buddy Chad Mayer and his son Jacob. Turned loose for another day. The other two were between 18″ and 19″. Not too bad a day, but after fishing in the snow and rain all day, it was nice to get into some heat!
Last week on a different lake my buddy Marty managed this 26 1/4″, a 23, and we got a couple 22s, including this one. I sure hope winter doesn’t get here toooo soon.
