Hey guys what would you recommend to carry my Tucr’s ice rods in? Would like enough room for 4-5 with reels.

I would say the Otter Sportsman’s Caddy. I have been using them for years and have really put them to the test including putting it in a rollover a couple winters back, and the rods never moved at all.

I got the frabil heavy duty rod case last year and love it! I have 5 rods in there plus room for another

I love my Plano 42″ Tactical case. I can fit 8 combos snug in it, and 6 comfortably. I also knocked out a spot for my AquaVu micro. During the season I have it mounted to the top of my ATV box all the time and have yet to have any road muck or water get inside.

you spend mucho $$ on your rods and reels, don’t go cheap on the case to protect them, Otter case all the way!

If space isn’t an issue,or price… The ice fishing innovations case is a beast. No folding of handles. Saw one of my guys run his over by accident. No damage.

Here’s my Frabill with 8 combos. The thing is a beast, and I’d trust the strength of it over the Otter. That hole in the front right is for my AquaVu.

You can also use a hard bow case. Its not ideal, but it will work.

Thank you everyone for your advice. I will look and compare all of the cases you mentioned.

I use this case. It’s only $27 and does just as good of a job as those more expensive “ice rod” cases. Those fancy cases are really the same thing with some clever marketing, a logo, and a jacked up price. It holds 4 rods best, but I’ve fit up to 6 in it at times. The case is 36″ and perfect for rods up to 34″ but if you’re looking for a long rod case, this isn’t it.

I will say you may need to fold your reel handles down depending on the size of the reel. The Pflueger 20s I run can fit without folding down but the 25s need folding.
