In this crazy time we’re in, I’d like to raise a glass to all my brothers and sisters, authentic Irish, and honorable Irish, (I’m 75%) to make sure you live each day to the fullest, take nothing for granted, count your blessings twice, be a friend to everyone you can!
    Cheers!!! toast

Anyone else like me in that they’re the exception to the rule and have no trace of Irish?

Not me, I’m mostly all England, Wales, Scotland and yes… a wee bit ‘o’ Irish. All around the UK.

Pailoperch…? Crown Royal? Why not Jameson? whistling

    Cheers…

Kinda funny, I drove back home from the cities yesterday and completely forgot it was St. Patty’s until I got home. Odd times.

I don’t have a single genetic code of Irish in me either Dan. I enjoy an adult beverage just as much as the next guy but I don’t celebrate a foreign holiday that I have no part of like some do.

When I had my DNA tested it came back as 35% Northern European, 45% Golden Retreiver, and 20% unknown. So no Irish in me.

Theres a great quote near the end of Blazing Saddles regarding if the Irish can stay or leave. If you know it then that’s your chuckle. If you dont then watch the movie if it hasnt been banned from showing toast

My wife and I are honorable Irish today. We both remembered to wear green. Don’t want no pinching! We’ll start cooking the corned beef around 3:30. Add the potatoes, cabbage and carrots later. Cant wait for dinner!! Preceded by a pint or two of course.

I’m thinking, if you encounter a Ginger, drinking 2 Gingers, and you happen to get along with Gingers…… Then your in the right spot! toast

That makes it a party! toast

My Grandma(Branigan) says this every year before the corned beef.

Usually her and her friends are front row for the pipes at Keegan’s NE, sadly that won’t happen this year. For some 80+ year old women they can still throw down some beer when they want. Always was a good time stopping by and wishing them all well. Long standing tradition for those Irish gals.

    Cheers to everyone toast

No green beer, but green seltzers count right?! lol

My uncle, Clem Crowley, of the Crowley clan is smiling down on us tonight. He used to have a permanent seat at the dubliner in Omaha.

As a first generation Irish American everyday was st Patrick’s day to him!

My grandmother, Marge Crowley, would be a bit disappointed we didn’t go to church and are drinking on a Wednesday. But, eventually she’d come around and join us!

Rest is peace Crowley’s! This next drink is for you.
