Carving a jack o lantern for my front porch is something I look forward to.

Fun! Billy and I used to carve pumpkins each year for the front steps, but the last few years we’ve been lazy and just set out pumpkins without carving. You’ll have to post pictures once you’re done! )

Here’s some from 2016, 2017, and 2018. 2019 coming in a couple weeks. We bake the seeds in the oven for snack with a little sea salt too.

Those look awesome! I’ve never developed a taste for pumpkin seeds. I did try them a couple of times, just to be sure and they don’t really do anything for me.

I know I just think its sad if you wanted to paint your ars and moon your friend and a kid happens to be walking by nowadays you would probably go to jail.

Well, I would hope if it’s a kid of an adult you know they hopefully wouldn’t press charges, but it is something to be careful of these days. Too many sickos out there.

Remember those yucky orange or black peanut butter hard chewy candies yuck!

I realize I’m in the minority, but I love them!!! I need to stop by Fleet Farm and pick up a bag.

Our Fleet Farm had them on sale so I picked up a couple bags. Love the things.

Carole and I made our annual “let’s see if Tom can make it to the top of the mountain” hike to the deer stand today. All went well. In fact the new med I take for A-Fib also does wonders on making my breathing much easier. I didn’t stop to huff and puff the whole way up there….well yes we stopped but not because I was struggling to breathe. This is something new to me as the last 4 or 5 years have been a short of breath joke going up that mountain of a hill.

What a beautiful day it was for the climb and the colors….just beautiful.

Yes, great news to hear Tom! Glad you got to see some fall colors as well. There’s a small patch of woods by my office that I like to wander around in on breaks and there’s some beautiful reds and oranges starting to develop!
