Hope you guys have a great father’s day. The kid told me he set up a T time for us to go shoot 9 at 940. Then we have baseball all evening. We made a big father’s day meal yesterday with smoked pork butt smoked beans and Mac and cheese. Hope all you dad’s out there have a nice relaxing day with the kids.

    Bearcat, that looks incredible!

Mom has been out of town so it’s been just me and the Boys this weekend.

We fished Lake Superior yesterday and pounded lake trout, they kept one for dinner and cut it up all by themselves, then cooked it over a campfire in the backyard waytogo

Today we’re loading up the kayaks and fishing some little inland WI trout lakes in Douglas County. If we succeed we’re having brookies for dinner when Mom gets back home woot

    Happy Father’s Day All!!!

Happy Father’s Day to all the IDO dads! And especially my dad, Steve Root! There’s a special place in heaven saved for dads who still take their daughters fishing and show them new knots even after almost 40 years! grin applause

That’s awesome. I took the 2 kids and we are hiking down the sunrise catching pike and bass. Went golfing with the boy earlier, that was a fun couple hours. The mosquitos here by the river are awful.

Hope everyone had a good Father’s Day. I was at the ball fields all day watching daughters play but that was enjoyable. Even wore the shirt they got me.

It was delicious for sure. I also head coach the kids team. We only had a practice though yesterday from 630 to 830 pm.

We had a Game but they do not keep track of score at this age 1-2 graders. Fun and lots of learning none the less.

Bman you do any guided trips out on Superior I have an 8 year old that would love to catch a lake trout.

I’m a licensed captain but I don’t have enough time to justify running a business (extra insurance, LLC, etc)

If you and your boy would like to join us sometime I’d love to take him out for fun waytogo

Sunday we Drove back from vermilion after going up to finally get my truck back with a new transmission. My boy and had a tough time in the truck all day. Still wouldn’t trade that time for anything.

To make it more of a road trip than a totally boring return home, we stopped in mahtowa at TJ’s to play at the playground and bought some smoked beef sticks. Had lunch in hinckley. Ordered pizza from pizza arcade for dinner Sunday evening. Busy day for me, boring day for him, lazy evening for all of us.
