I still see every other vehicle on the road texting and driving. This is just another one of those laws 90 percent of people wont follow.

Was convinced a long time ago that the law was written for insurance companies and never intended for actual enforcement. I’m sure the insurance industry has a large lobbyist group that want these laws passed everywhere so they can deny claims.

Also, it’s not illegal to drive below the posted limit.

If they are sitting in the left lane it is.

    If.

If you’re driving down the sidewalk too.

….. and yet I still see folks talking with handheld cell phones up to the ear. Even saw a commercial vehicle drive by me today with the cell to his ear. Laws don’t stop anything. Just more revenue. Less freedom. I say let everyone do their thing.

I am constantly passed on highway 61. I just stick to my 60 mph and give enough room to avoid the scene when they crash head on. Police are not interested in enforcement on 61. I’ve complained and rarely if ever see anything done.

    This is the truth.
