    We fished in relative comfort. As soon as we got the boat off the river and into the parking lot at the landing, that’s when we got a true feel for how hard the wind was blowing.

    I love it! Had people looking at me like I was insane on pool 6 last week. A biker heckled me asked me if I was looking for grandpa! I laughed-they were good peeps and they had all sorts of questions while we snooped that area. I got my handline reels 2009 on Detroit area craigslist. Also got some intel from the fella- ;-)

    P7 is a more straight run compared to some of the other pools. Didn’t matter where we went up there – extreme wind tunnel and ice balls
