Does anyone have a recommendation for a good handheld gps to mark spots for ice fishing? Something you could maybe mount in a bracket on a flasher?

Garmin makes good ones. I have a ram mount cradle for mine with corresponding mounts on my vex and elsewhere.

Which one do you use? And does it show lake contour lines or is it just a plotter to put waypoints on?

Do you have a smartphone? If so just get Navionics, cheap and the most accurate contours I’ve used. And you can add waypoints as well.

I’ll admit to being a little paranoid about that. I know too many guys that have had cell phones go down ice holes. It’s like they’re a cell phone magnet )

Garmin now owns Navionics, I believe that they might have a lake card for the handheld Montana and Oregon GPS’s
