Spent the last 2 weekends working up plots with the disc after mowing the weekend before. Last weekend we applied all the required fertilizer then tilled it in. The lack of snow and being on high ground made it easy to get in and start working the plots earlier than most this year. I won’t be up this weekend, but will be up for my turkey season and planting starting May 1st. If the soil continues to warm up my timing should be perfect. These pics are some of the plots after the final tilling, all ready for seed.

Thanks gents, I will be planting 5 acres of beans and 3 acres of corn in the spring, then 2.5 acres of brassica about mid July. The 3 acres of clover are in good shape and just got fertilizer this spring.

    I attached this years plan.

    green is clover

    blue is beans

    yellow is corn

    purple is brassica

    red outline is the sanctuary

the 2 fields in the middle will be rented again and are going to be alfalfa
