I planted these radishes last Saturday back in SD. We have a well hydrant close by so I took the garden sprinkler and gave them a good drink the first night. Dad has also watered them along with the new apple trees this week a couple times. I’m amazed how quickly they have grown. They look to be over seeded a bit, but time will tell. I’ll be interested to see if they grown any bulbs given how late I planted them.

SWEET, looking good. I would think you have a full month of growing time at least so you should get bulbs. You might not get soft ball size bulbs depending on what the weather does, but you will get bulbs.

I guess we got a little rain over the weekend too. Should help my Winter Rye also. Man, waiting until October to hunt is going to drive me nuts.

Yeah, I woke up yesterday morning at the farm to thunder. We got 1.5″ of rain in 3 hours.
If it makes you feel any better I will be in the tree this weekend

Dad checked the radishes last night. They continue to grow well, but aren’t forming any bulbs yet. I’ll be curious to see if they do anything since I planted them so late. He’s been watering them every couple days for me.

Haha. Dad got a new phone Monday. He can barely answer it. Can’t figure out how to hang it up. Getting a picture would be virtually impossible.

Ya, each time he answers I give him some sort of grief. His big client who takes all the pheasants only want to “talk” via text. I’m not sure how he is handling that. Hopefully he’ll have it figured out soon. Otherwise I see some phone training in my near future.
