We got to the farm on Thursday night at 9pm. Started prepping equipment and mowing clover. Before we knew it it was 2am. We grabbed a quick night cap then hit the hey. Got up at 5:30am and it was perfect weather to spray, calm cool and wet with sun starting to rise and clear skys. I hit the 4 plots of 7 total acres of corn with gly and hell fire. The plots looked great with corn about 6″ high, lots of short weeds. Spraying went well so it was off to turn some ground.

I had 3 bags of beans to get in, I had one plot prepped, but needed to make another to get all the seed in. I quickly tilled the established plot then went to the new location. Tilled it up 3 times and had a nice seed bed. Ran back hooked up the planter and filled the 3 hoppers with beans. Got all that planted in good time, then cultipacked it all.

Spent a couple hours working on duck blinds, then at 4pm we packed up and headed for Mille Lacs. Was a short stop at the farm, but we got a ton of things done. The clover was a foot tall and lush, the new clover/rye plots were coming in nicely. Corn looked great and now 3 acres of beans are in. Now I can finally relax and let it grow.
