Halfen and I had the opportunity to fish out of the 1880 back in July and it handled and fished very well. Even Dustin “I love my tin boat” Stewart commented on how well it handled rough water when he got a chance to ride in it once Jason and I were off the water.

If you have a spare hour or two and you have boat shopping on your mind I would recommend making it to the Ride-N-Drive. It will tell you more about a boat than you could learn after attending a dozen sports shows. And the gas is on Skeeter Boat Center.

I know I’ll be down to burn a few gallons through the big tiller.

    Good Info thank you!

They kinda look like some of the Mustads hooks I have with a little wider gap.

Gander Mountain in Blaine off Hwy 65 has them too.
I got mine from Bob and have been using them all summer. They work just great. Also try there Sinkers too.

What’s a Gander Mountain? Sounds like a big box bait tackle shop to me. I’ll stick with my neighborhood bait shop, Moore’s Bait and Tackle.

    BrianK,

Thanks for the great wrtie up on the DOUBLE ACTION catfish hooks. As you have found out, this is not your average hook by any means…..The more a angler uses them, the better they will like them! This hook will work in every catfishing situation from coast to coast!

Hello to all the catifsh anglers on the forum. I looked around a little, and found some mighty nice lookin cats you all have in the North land.

Great website….I am sure I will be visiting quite often!

Thank you Bob Moore of Moore’s bait and Tackle for handling the Team Catifsh bait and tackle.

    Hey! Welcome to Ido Jeff!

Don’t forget to check out the Minnesota River Forum under MN. Those guys were on fire this year.

By the way…many of our guys are out Lake Sturgeon fishing now. We have a too short 6 week season on them.

Gotta run and get the boat ready for the first guided Lake Sturgeon trip of the year! I’m so pumped!

Hey Jeff! Welcome! Thanks for the great hooks. I got mine from Bob Moore this spring and it’s all I ran for cats all summer. They work great!

My dad planted a ton of pumpkins one year in South Dakota and they were a deer magnet come hunting season!
