Apple tree fertilizer??

    Planted some apple trees a couple years ago. They are not growing as fast as I would like. I put a fertilizer packet in when planted as recommended by the nursery. I am wondering if I should get some fertilizer spikes or if anyone has suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help!

    I use 10-10-10 on my apples and lots of water, especially this year. The above suggestion is a good one with new trees . I have done this and it seems to help.
