That rain we got last night was very much needed. My corn at home is knee high, the beans are up about 6″ and the clover is growing like weeds 
The ground was really drying out with the heat and wind. I could use another 1″ or so, but very happy to get what we did.
I’m told we had over an inch at my place in the NW metro last night too. My yard sure needed it. Hard to believe only a few short days ago we had 7+ inches of rain.
WE got about enough to settle the dust 
I only got just over an inch on the last storm in the east metro, so we needed it pretty bad…although I did plant some small bare root trees last Thursday and down a couple inches the ground still had some moisture. An inch or so every week would be perfect 
Drought for days but somehow the weeds are growing magnificently so I have to spray this weekend… Nothing but showers on the forecast throughout the weekend… Awesome
I finished up spraying my last bean plot at home this morning, it can rain now
Heading to the farm next Thursday to spray that 10 acres of plots. Hopefully the weather cooperates.
Extremely dry in far SE MN but the 7 day rain models are showing 3+ inches on the way. I welcome that as long as it doesnt all come in the same hour.

My total was 8.3″ several reports of 11-12″ most fields are gone. I have over 2′ of water in my basement. I don’t even know where to start

Wow, that’s a lot of rain. I must be living right I got a total of 1.3″ since Thursday
