We lit up 18 acres on Saturday. It was pretty slow going at first with the precipitation over night, continued cloud cover and humidity levels early on in the day. But as the day went on our productivity increased. We started around 11:00 am and finished up around 4:00 pm. LOTS of walking with the drip torch. 
Should be nice and green in a couple of weeks.

controlled burns are very good for weed control in those warm season grasses.
