Figured it out…Bought a couple 65 gallon drums, pvc pipe and hardware and rigged up our new way of getting water to our food plots. Had to drill more holes in the pvc to get the right flow and now she works awesome.

We did that once where I worked but was just to put water down to cut down the dust. Great idea on using it to water food plots!!

Very good idea Dan! How many acres can you cover with 100 gallons?

Not sure yet. I am only going to be watering my kill plots that are planted in mid to late July. Each of them are less than a 1/3 of an acre in size. Went out on Saturday to water Mike’s plot that is maybe 1/3 of an acre and put down 130 gallons. I can fill up at my buddies place if I need to make more trips out to my plots.

Here’s what we came up with a couple of years ago. Total cost was around $40 to build it.
