What a difference a week makes

Last week had close to a foot of snow on the clover plot. Went out on Saturday to put out my new Covert camera and the snow was completely gone. On Sunday I was able to do some frost seeding of the clover plot. Can’t wait to see the results in a few weeks…along with preparing the rest of the food plots. Man, this stuff is as addicting as turkey/deer hunting!

This is great weather for frost seeding I have frost here again this morning and now it’s over 40 deg. a couple of days of that and that seed will be worked into the soil just the way it should be It may take a month to really see those small new seedlings but they will be there.

I hung a cam just over a week ago and was pleased to see that when I went back that the plot had greened nicly with fresh shoots and browseing was evident!! Its right around the corner now!!
