okay guys, im 15 and have hunted since i was 4. usually, i will go up to my dads 4 times a year in northern mn to hunt. but this year in wisconsin i will have land to hunt. The area i will be hunting hasnt had a hunter there for the last 3 years (besides the fact that there may be trespassers). Anyways, my brother and i have been making videos and creating dvds on our hunting and fishing. this spring, however, we will be planting food plots. what do you guys like to plant? where do you plant? stuff like that. thanks fellas!

I planted my first plot when I was your age, walk behind rototiller, it was about 20 ft by 40ft, I never saw a deer in it but got some great pics and a friend of my took his girlfreind, now wife their and shot one ith a bow and thats how it began for me. it all depends on the area your ploting but Id say Shot Plot would be a good option for you, spend time getting a good till on your ground and TAKE soil samples, ajust your ph apply the proper fert/lime and you should get between 12 and 20 inchs of growth if all goes well.

I agree with Qdm… Start small and do it right! I also have had good luck with shot plot or biologic maximum. Good luck
