X 3 Great post Pat
I am young but come from a familiy of farmers who at first thought I was crazy to plant my first plots 11 years ago for DEER!! Feild RATS gramps would say but over the years he has seen my passion grow and helped me in more ways than he will ever know, to him I am thankful.
As far as helping others… when i got started there was little to no info for the northern food ploters as the craze had stricken the south long before us. This lack of info led me to try some stupid things, but I have learned much through trial and error, I may not have the answer on what to do but I have probly got an answer on what not to do Thanks much to you Pat and all the guys that make the site what it is!!
Great post Pat and I agree 100% with you but you should be included in the subject line too! Here’s a big for all 3 of you!

Well-said, really appreciate the hard earned knowledge you guys (including Pat!) are willing to share with the rest of us. As already mentioned, it’s the kind of advice you’ll never get from a seed salesman or a bag.

I would love to consider myself on the same level as Bob and Ben. But can’t quite yet I know what works on my home turf for me. But I’m don’t have the complete formula down for other places and situations. These guys are throwing out words that I can’t even say let alone spell

Yup, amazing amounts of info coming from all of you!! Thanks everyone!!!
I couldn’t agree more! Ben, Bob and Pat are all wealthy with knowledge and happy to share it with the rest of us so not everyone has to learn everything the hard way. Ben has gone the extra mile and helped me personally through my transformation from cidiot to a Guy that might be able to make something grow by himself. Thank you all and all the hard work is within weeks of reminding us why we are willing to sweat or in the hot summer months.
